About Us

Now 104 members strong, Hanover Ruritan Club has had a long history of work in the community. The club was founded in 1936 and now celebrates over 70 years of service to our friends and neighbors. This past year alone, our club donated over $18,000 to organizations and individuals in our community.

Structure: Hanover Ruritan club is part of the Chesapeake District which in turn is part of the Ruritan National Organization.

Unique: The Ruritan organization is supported by the strength of a National organization, but the flexibility to allow each club to set its own priorities based on the needs of their community.
